Fried sweet dumplings filled with semolina flour, cardamoms and almonds
  • ½ cup clarified butter (ghee)
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 200 gm crushed Jaggery (gur)
  • ¼ cup crushed almonds, keep a little for garnishing.
  • Heat a pan; add in clarified butter (ghee). Add wheat flour and stir on low to medium heat, for about 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Mix in the crushed Jaggery (gur) and almonds and stir together till it all gets well mixed for about 2 to 3 minutes. Close burner.
  • Pour out and flatten the ready mixture onto a round bowl or dish. Garnish with crushed almonds. Allow to cool, cut out into cubes or diamond shapes before serving.
